We’d like to invite our RV’ing family and friends to a gathering/rally in Galax VA the week of June 3-8, 2024. This is about the time that we enjoyed the Houstonfest music festival in previous years. Unfortunately, after many years that event has been discontinued.

This year Galax will be celebrating the inaugural “Hillbilly Dayz” on the 7^th & 8^th. This will be a free public event to be held in downtown Galax. The plan includes vendors, food trucks, bluegrass & old-time music, games, hillbilly beauty contest, car show and beer garden. We’ve reserved RV sites at the famous “Old Cranks” RV Park in Galax. This is a small park with 15 full hookup sites.

We’ll plan some activities for that week prior to “Hillbilly Dayz” so come early or come when you can.

If interested, please let us know asap and we’ll reserve your site.

As in past years, we’ll make all reservations with the campground owners, collect all funds and pay with a single Merry Marylander check.
